SSPs & Exchanges
Watching That connects to SSPs and exchanges to pull performance data directly into your workspace alongside your ad server data.
How SSP & Exchange connections work
There are two ways Watching That integrates with SSPs and exchanges:
Method | How it works | Platforms |
|---|---|---|
Reporting API | Watching That queries the platform's reporting API directly on a scheduled basis. | All 12 currently supported platforms (see below) |
Email / CSV import | Your platform sends scheduled reports to a dedicated Watching That email address, or you upload CSV files directly. See Email / CSV Data Import under Platform Tools for full details. | Available for any platform — contact your account manager |
Both methods provide rollup data (aggregated summaries rather than event-level logs), which means the data is available in the Report module for dashboards and scheduled reporting. Analysis and Monitoring modules are not currently supported for these data sources.
With either method, you can:
See SSP and exchange revenue alongside ad server data in a single Report view
Compare partner performance across multiple SSPs, exchanges, and your ad server in one dashboard
Eliminate manual report downloads from individual SSP and exchange dashboards

More SSP and exchange connections are being added regularly. If you use a platform not listed here, contact your Watching That account manager to discuss availability.
Getting connected
Each platform requires either API credentials or a scheduled email report configuration. Your account manager will guide you through the setup — typically completed within one working day (longer for OAuth-based integrations).
See the individual platform pages above for specific setup requirements.
